Year Of The Do

January 13, 2009 · Print This Article

I hearby proclaim this year, 2009, The Year Of The Do.

What I mean by that is I am taking massive action to reach my goal of 6 figures this year.

I’ve already started with a bang… I have two big projects I’m currently working on and one waiting in the wings.  The first is a membership site and the second is an ebook project, and I’m really excited about both of them.

These projects will incorporate a few new things for me:

    1.  Starting a membership site.
    2.  Working with partners.

The membership site content is coming along nicely, but we have a ways to go on the implementing side of it with the technical challenges a membership site brings.

The ebook content is going to educate AND inspire you! And that’s all I’m going to say about that right now.

So with these projects affording me the chance to learn new areas of internet marketing, will I feel frustrated, successful, pissed off, giddy, scared, and proud along the way?

     You bet.

But that won’t slow me down…. er… stop me, because this is The Year Of Do. :)
What about you? Where are you headed this year?

    Wow awesome!

I’m in the process of creating the content for my new membership website too! Maybe we could help each other out or something?

Amazing blog, great content as always :-)

Hey James, my Twitter friend, I’m glad to hear you’re doing a membership site too. I know you have a lot of good info to offer.

    Good luck with it!

Any more room on the membership bandwagon? :-)

I’ve also been kicking around creating a membership site and plan do so in 2009. I’m leaning towards using Wordpress with one of the awesome membership plugins out there. Decisions, decisions.

    Hi Alan,

I hope you do a membership site because I think you’ve got teaching in your blood. :) Here’s to case studies!

    Hi Amanda,
I apoligize for my late response but for some reason I wasn’t notified of your comment.

    Yea for 2009!
As you said on your blog, each day needs to be treated like a brand new day. The same thing goes for each year. It’s hard not to be optimistic (as long as you don’t watch the news).

    Thanks,
    Peggy
